What is FindUsername.online?

FindUsername.online is a fast, in-browser username lookup tool. Type a handle and it probes 80+ public profile URLs in parallel, classifying each as found, 404, or unknown.

It's heavily inspired by the wonderful Maigret OSINT project, which checks a catalog of 3000+ sites with deeper metadata extraction. If you need that depth or recursive cross-site parsing, run Maigret locally — this tool is a lightweight web cousin.

What FindUsername doesn't do

• No 3000-site catalog — just ~80 popular ones.
• No profile scraping or PII extraction.
• No recursive linked-account discovery.
• No saved searches or accounts. Recent history is local-only.

Caveats

Some sites aggressively block server-side requests (Cloudflare, bot challenges, geo-walls). Those typically come back as unknown — open the URL manually to confirm.
